Gargantuan Undead (Lich), Lawful Evil
> _"From ruin, we are reborn. From death, we rise eternal. We are past, present, and future. We are the Convergence."_
When two or more of the Dread Conclave Liches are slain, the remaining liches merge into The Convergence, an apocalyptic fusion of all five lich lords. It embodies ultimate necromantic, ice, flesh, shadow, and fate-warping magic in one entity, seeking to destroy reality itself.

- Only Divine Intervention or Wish can fully prevent resurrection.
##### **Paradox of Fate**
- Once per round, The Convergence can force any creature to reroll an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw (taking the lower result).
- Players cannot roll higher than 18 unless they roll a Natural 20.
##### **Frozen Time**
- The Convergence exists outside of time.
- At the start of each round, it can freeze time for 1 round (every creature is paralyzed, except The Convergence and legendary resistance creatures).

##### **Legendary Resistances (3/Day)**
If The Convergence **fails a saving throw**, it can choose to succeed instead.

It can cast 3 spells per turn (once per round each level 7-9).

#### **Actions**
Multi-attack (3 per turn)
The Convergence makes three attacks per turn:
one melee attack, one ranged spell, and one area-of-effect ability.
**Necrotic Reaver (Melee Attack)**
- +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target
- Damage: 40 (6d10 + 5) necrotic damage
- If the target fails a DC 20 Con save, their maximum HP is reduced by the damage dealt.
**Oblivion Pulse (Recharge 5-6)**
- A 60-ft. radius explosion of pure undeath.
- Every creature within 60 feet must make a DC 22 Constitution saving throw.
- Failure: 10d10 necrotic damage, and if reduced to 0 HP, they are instantly annihilated (only Wish can restore them).
- Success: Half damage.
**Frostbound Ruin (Recharge 5-6)**
- Cone of Freezing Death (90 ft.)
- All creatures must make a DC 21 Dex save or take 12d10 cold damage and be frozen for 1 round.
**Summon Dread horde (1/Day)**
- The battlefield **erupts with undead**.
- The Convergence summons **6 Dread horde Legionnaires** or **2 Flesh Horrors**.
**Legendary Actions (3 per Round)**
- Shadow Step (1 Action): Teleports 60 ft. as a reaction and becomes invisible until next turn.
- Warp Reality (2 Actions): Reverses the last attack that hit The Convergence, dealing full damage back to the attacker.
- Shattered Fate (3 Actions, Recharge 5-6): Reverses time, negating the last entire round of actions (forcing players to redo the last round).
**Mythic Phase: When Reduced to 0 HP**
- The Convergence collapses into a massive black hole.
- It regenerates 200 HP and becomes a being of pure undeath.
- All creatures must make a DC 24 Strength saving throw or be dragged into the void (instant death).
**Tactics**
**Phase 1: The Lich Lord**
- Begins in a floating form above the battlefield, casting Time Stop, Finger of Death, and Meteor Swarm.
- Uses Oblivion Pulse early to weaken the party.
- Summons Dread horde reinforcements if players get too aggressive.
**Phase 2: The Unstoppable Force**
- Regenerates and becomes more aggressive.
- Collapsing platforms force movement.
- Shattered Fate (time reversal) happens more often.
- Players must finish the fight in 5 rounds, or the vortex consumes the world.
**Defeating The Convergence**
- Conventional methods won’t work—it must be sealed or its phylactery destroyed.
- The party must disrupt the vortex while fighting, requiring skill challenges, divine power, or an artefact.
