![[Celonis the Satyr.png|400]]
**Race:** Satyr
**Origin:** Feywild
**Occupation:** “Official Feywild Envoy” (self-appointed)
**Current Location:** The Material Plane
---
### **Lore Overview**
Celonis was _technically_ chosen—though more accurately, “volunteered under pressure”—by the Fey Courts to investigate a disturbance bleeding from the Material Plane into the borders of the Feywild. The Queen’s advisers claimed that _something unnatural_ was corrupting fey crossings, twisting flora into thorned husks and sending dryads mad.
Rather than dispatching an elite scout, the Courts sent Celonis. Why? Because he happened to be standing too close when the Queen asked for a volunteer.
Armed with a flute, mild anxiety, and an uncanny ability to talk his way out of responsibility, Celonis crossed into the mortal world. Upon discovering how dangerous it actually was, he did what any sensible fey would—he immediately began searching for _adventurers_ brave (and gullible) enough to handle the problem for him.
He now travels from tavern to tavern, nervously stammering through his mission briefing, occasionally losing his notes, and often forgetting who he’s supposed to be reporting to. Despite his clumsiness, his heart is pure, and he genuinely wants to help… preferably from behind someone braver.

### **Personality**
|Trait|Description|
|---|---|
|**Nervous Energy**|Constantly fidgets, hooves tapping, tail twitching, eyes darting.|
|**Naïvely Optimistic**|Believes most problems can be solved with “a good song and maybe some cheese.”|
|**Not the Brightest**|Often misquotes orders or forgets who sent him; genuinely tries his best.|
|**Loyal (to a fault)**|Once he trusts someone, he’ll follow them anywhere—usually while panicking loudly.|
---
### **Appearance**
A wiry satyr with scruffy chestnut fur, curly hair tangled with leaves, and a perpetually worried look. His horns are slightly uneven (from a “door incident”), and his travel cloak is covered in patches from every tavern he’s fled in terror. His flute dangles from a cord at his belt, along with a half-eaten apple and several pieces of parchment labelled _“Important Fey Business (Do Not Lose)”_.
