_Wondrous Item (artifact), attuned by Orlan only_ This silver-and-azure medallion is etched with Mystra’s seven-pointed star, each point glowing faintly with threads of the Weave. The sigil shifts between solid metal and translucent light, as though it only partly exists in the Material Plane. Those who gaze too long into it see rippling layers of arcane patterns — the living fabric of magic itself. --- ### Abilities **Mystra’s Blessing.** While attuned, Orlan has advantage on all saving throws against spells and magical effects. **Arcane Resonance.** 1/day, when Orlan casts a spell of 1st level or higher, he can weave in the power of the Aegis. Choose one: - The spell ignores resistance to its damage type. - Add +1 to the spell’s attack roll or save DC. - The spell manifests with radiant-blue Weave energy, shedding dim light in a 20 ft. radius. **Weave Surge.** 1/day, when Orlan casts a spell of 3rd level or higher, he can trigger a controlled surge. Roll 1d4: 1. **Arcane Ward:** Orlan or an ally within 30 ft. gains temporary hit points equal to the spell’s level × 5. 2. **Spell Echo:** Orlan may immediately cast the same spell again at its lowest level without expending a slot. 3. **Dimensional Shift:** Orlan teleports up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space he can see. 4. **Raw Power:** The spell deals an extra 2d8 force damage or healing (as appropriate). **Mantle of the Weave.** 1/day, Orlan can call directly upon Mystra’s favour. For 1 minute: - He has advantage on all spell attacks and saving throw DCs increase by +2. - Whenever he casts a spell, he also emits an aura of radiant-blue energy. Enemies within 10 ft. take force damage equal to his proficiency bonus at the start of their turn. At the end of the duration, Orlan must roll a DC 15 Constitution save. On a failure, he suffers 1 level of exhaustion as the strain of channelling the Weave takes its toll.
