_Wondrous Item (artifact), attuned by Kyo only_ This curved shard of obsidian is bound to a leather strap, worn like a charm or tied into Kyo’s fur. It is said to be a fragment of the claw from the first great predator that ever stalked the Material Plane. When attuned, the relic melds into Kyo’s paw, phasing in and out of sight like a shadow-weapon. ### Abilities **Predator’s Strike.** Once per turn when Kyo makes a claw attack, they can choose to empower it with the Claw’s essence. The attack deals an additional 2d10 necrotic damage and ignores resistance to nonmagical attacks. **Hunter’s Mirage.** As a bonus action, Kyo can blur into three afterimages of themselves that mirror their movements. For 1 minute, attacks against Kyo are made with disadvantage unless the attacker can see through illusions. Usable 2/day. **Primeval Instinct.** While attuned, Kyo has advantage on Dexterity saving throws and on initiative rolls. **Blood in the Air.** When Kyo reduces a creature to 0 hit points, they can immediately move up to half their speed and make one claw attack as part of the same action. --- - When activated, the Claw leaves glowing red or shadowy streaks in the air, like rips in reality.
