Staff of the Living Constellation
_Staff, very rare (requires attunement by a druid)_
This dark, smooth staff is threaded with faint silver grain that glimmers like distant stars. Tiny points of light drift beneath its surface, slowly rearranging themselves into new constellations. When a druid assumes a Starry Form, the lights surge and briefly mirror the chosen constellation.
## Magic Staff
- This staff can be used as a **magic quarterstaff** that grants a **+2 bonus to attack and damage rolls** made with it.
- While holding the staff, you gain a **+2 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your druid spells.**
## Heart of the Stars
While you are in a **Starry Form** granted by the Circle of Stars, the staff awakens and grants additional benefits based on the constellation you choose.
### **Archer: Wrath of the Heavens**
While you are in **Starry Form (Archer)**:
- The ranged spell attack granted by your Starry Form deals **2d8 + your Wisdom modifier radiant damage**, instead of 1d8 + your Wisdom modifier.
- Once on each of your turns, when you deal radiant damage with that attack or with a druid spell, you can cause a second creature of your choice within 15 feet of the original target to take **radiant damage equal to your Wisdom modifier**.
### **Chalice: Wellspring of Creation**
While you are in **Starry Form (Chalice)**:
- When the Chalice constellation allows you to restore hit points to a creature, you can choose **up to two creatures** to receive the additional healing, instead of one.
- Any creature that regains hit points from this Chalice feature also gains **temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier**.
### **Dragon: Form of the Cosmic Wyrm**
While you are in **Starry Form (Dragon)**:
- You gain a **flying speed of 15 feet and can hover**.
- You have **advantage on Constitution saving throws**.
- Once per turn, when you succeed on a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration on a spell, you gain **resistance to all damage** until the start of your next turn.
## Stellar Aegis
While you are in a Starry Form, when you or a creature you can see within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to reduce that damage by **2d6**.
You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your **Wisdom modifier**, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
## Lore
These staves are not crafted but _charted_. Each is grown from a tree planted where a star once fell. Over decades, druids map the heavens into its grain until the staff begins to glow on its own. Such relics are said not to draw power from the stars, but to **remember them**.
