Vaprak was a demigod or lesser deity of greed, destruction, frenzy, and violence, known as The Destroyer, The Rapacious, and The King Eater. He was the patron deity of ogres and trolls and was considered one of the interloper gods of giants.
His avatar was a hideous humanoid ogre with mottled greenish-brown skin and taloned claws.

Up until the Spellplague, Vaprak resided within the **Abyss** in the realm of **Shatterstone** on the **524th layer**. After the Spellplague, Vaprak resided within **Nishrek** as an exarch of **Gruumsh**.

Vaprak was worshipped by:

Occasionally, a **frost giant** would turn to the worship of Vaprak through a ritual involving devouring a willing troll, granting enhanced strength and regeneration.

Some giant tales claimed Vaprak was **descended from Annam All-Father** or derived from one of his children. Later, Vaprak had an affair with **Othea**, leading to the **creation of the ogre race**. Trolls believed Vaprak also bore daughters who became progenitors of their own race. The oni believed both ogres and trolls were descendants of Vaprak, and claimed he sired three sons who became ancestors of oni or ogre mages.
In tales involving halflings, Vaprak chased the halfling god **Brandobaris** for many days before being outwitted; Vaprak then moved his ogres to another region.
