>Rock was a fighter who travelled with Sordia Vignti in the earliest companions. He did not speak because he was missing his tongue. The circumstances of how it was taken were never explained to the party, and Rock never attempted to communicate the story behind it. His silence was not treated as a mystery to be solved, but as a fact of who he was.
>Despite how little the party knew about his past, Rock proved himself to be fiercely loyal. Once he chose Sordia Vignti, that loyalty did not waver. He rarely expressed emotion outwardly, but his actions consistently showed a protective nature, particularly in combat situations where he would place himself between danger and the rest of the group without hesitation. He did not lead discussions or plans, but when decisions were made, he committed fully.
>Rock’s fighting style reflected his personality. He fought with discipline and restraint, favouring efficiency over aggression. Violence was never performative for him. When he engaged, it was because he believed it was necessary to protect the group or complete the objective. His presence in battle was steady and dependable, and the party learned to trust that if Rock stepped forward, he had already judged the risk and accepted it.
>Rock died during the confrontation with **[[Nezznar The Spider]]**, when Nezznar revealed his corrupted giant spider form. As the fight escalated and the threat became overwhelming, Rock deliberately placed himself in Nezznar’s path to prevent the enemy from reaching the rest of Sordia Vignti. His actions gave the party the time and space they needed to survive the encounter.
>His death was not accompanied by speeches or final messages. Rock left behind no explanations, only the outcome of his choice. [[Ellette]], [[Qwimby]], [[Morgar Goldgard|Morgar]], [[Karrut Styk|Karrut]] and [[Zara Blackwood|Zara]] survived because he acted without hesitation, fully aware of the cost. Rock stands as one of the earliest examples of what loyalty and sacrifice look like in Sordia Vignti. He is remembered not for what he said, but for what he did.
