While his people valued strength, Torvek was gifted with extraordinary agility and a deep connection to the natural world. This affinity for movement and his curiosity about the elements of life around him earned him admiration among his tribe, especially from elders who believed him destined for a greater purpose beyond their mountains. > Encouraged by their blessing, Torvek embarked on a journey of exploration and service. He wandered the lands of the Sword Coast, aiding travellers and spreading goodwill wherever he went. During these travels, he encountered a group of monks from the **Cradle of the Elements**, a monastery nestled near an ancient, dormant volcano south of Mirabar. > Intrigued by their teachings, Torvek joined the Cradle, where the monks focused on balancing the raw power of earth, fire, water, and air. He spent years mastering their techniques, channelling the elements into precise strikes, fluid movements, and harmonious defense. With time, Torvek learned how to call upon roaring flames, sweep foes aside with crashing waves, and leap as if carried by the wind. His deep bond with nature and unwavering dedication earned him the monastic title "Windwalker," a name reflecting his grace and fluidity. > The peace Torvek had found in the Cradle of the Elements was shattered when Zargathax, the infamous necromancer, attacked Mirabar. Torvek was guiding a caravan to the city when the assault began. From a distance, he saw the skies darken as Zargathax unleashed devastation, tearing through the city's defences. > In the aftermath, Torvek returned to aid the wounded and guide survivors to safety. He found the once-thriving city reduced to ruins and learned that the Cradle itself had been attacked. The surviving monks told him of their desperate fight to defend an ancient artefact hidden beneath the monastery stolen by Zargathax for his wicked designs. > The destruction of Mirabar ignited a flame of purpose in Torvek’s heart. He took an oath to stop Zargathax and prevent the necromancer from using the artefact to unbalance the elements and cause further devastation. > Now, Torvek seeks to travel in pursuit of Zargathax, intent on stopping the necromancer before he can cause further devastation. > Torvek heard whispers of a group known as **Sordia Vignti**, who are also tracking Zargathax and working to thwart his dark ambitions.
