- The Bulette bursts from the ground, leaping towards Droxic and attacking Steve and Graxen in the progress - As its assault continues, it drags Steve beneath the ground - As it dives back underground, the area it attacked becomes quicksand - causing Droxic and Graxen to struggle against sinking - Graxen pulls Droxic free, she immediately flies into the sky above the quicksand - Ellette runs to the other side of the field, calling out to Torvek to pound on the ground, drawing the creature's attention - The Bullette bursts from the ground, with Ellette using a spell to put it to sleep. As it lays on top of Steve, she casts Reduce - causing both the creature and Steve to shrink in size. - Steve remains trapped beneath the slumbering creature - Using Misty Step, Ellette manages to free Steve - Droxic fails to maintain her flight, plummeting back to the quick sand. The fall knocks her unconscious - Torvek pulls her free, using Step of the Wind to escape the quicksand. - As the creature continues to sleep, Graxen uses Blood Curse of Binding to hold it in place. - As we gain a closer look at the creature, it appears to have magic unnaturally coursing through it - The creature tenses itself, but is unable to move. Ellette once again casts Sleep - As it slumbers, she examines its armoured plating - She finds a vulnerable spot where two of the plates meet - The magical sleep fully grips the creature - causing it to fall fully unconscious - After the fight, Steve rescues Moo from a nearby tree while Torvek carries the sole surviving goblin - We leave signs on the main road to warn of the presence of the Bulette and the quicksand before continuing onward towards Greyhollow - Both Qwimby and Ellette manage to convince Karrisa not to attack the sleeping Bulette - wary that any acts of aggression will awaken it. Though vengeful over Oakley, she reluctantly agrees to stay her blade. - In Greyhollow, we find the rickety remains of a cart - which we quickly requisition before moving on towards Luskan. - The town is still covered with emerald, crystalline growth - with the sound of metallic scratching as we advance. - There doesn't appear to be any sign of the dragon - We finally arrive back at the keep, finding numerous new arrivals in the form of refugees and goblins - As we settle at a table in the main hall, a paper bird appears - flying around the table before landing in front of Ellette - The bird unfurls - revealing a letter within - The missive is from Elminster, warning of the nature of godlings - As Ellette finishes reading the letter, a small package apparated before. She finds a book within, Volo's Guide to The Dragons of Faerûn Signed By Volo - Rasp floats into the room, noticing both Torvek and Droxic. - He reluctantly accepts Ellette's urging that they are new friends - Rasp floats towards Steve, thinking Moo is food - He is ushered away, instead agreeing to a hunt with Graxen - As they leave, the Meep emerges from the kitchen - appearing to be munching on bread. - Outside, Vargath and Evette have been building a small settlement for the keep's growing goblin population - The group approaches with the single goblin rescued from Neverwinter - 30 goblins scramble into bunk beds inside the settlement as we enter. Ellette approaches Vargath to speak about the newest goblin arrival - Vargath takes the goblin from Torvek, beginning to care for him - He speaks of having met Jess - who supplied the goblins with blankets - He also speaks of a handful of the keep's orphans. Wen attempted to fight all the goblins at once - One of the goblins wears broken goggles on his head, and wears tattered clothing. He introduces himself as Grupple. He loves fireworks - After he shuffles away, another goblin - of portly build - approaches us. He is Moggie and likes to cook spicy food and dislikes bland food. He smells strongly of garlic - Outside the shack, Nissa waits - appearing very displeased with Graxen - She becomes enraged upon learning of his death, even more so when Graxen inadvertently reveals that Steve was the one who killed him - This continues to escalate when Steve reveals Graxen's werewolf nature - As Nissa struggles to process all of this, she storms off in anger - leaving Graxen dumbfounded - Steve returns home to introduce Moo to Big Guy - He is intrigued by the creature, wishing to know what it likes to eat - Big Guy is displeased upon seeing her newfound axe - believing Steve has declared herself "Grott's true love" - Torvek moves into the room previously owned by Ash and then Fergal. Qwimby expresses a belief that the room is cursed - Droxic takes the room previously owned by Karrut - drawn to the missing wall that allows her to see the night sky - The next day, Qwimby announces his intention to depart for Kalteo in search of information about the remaining books being sought by Zargathax - He mentions a contact in Kalteo called Juan Dinero
