- Sordia Vignti find Qwimby unconscious on the side of the road, with Qwimby noticing the Alchemist as we approach
- Qwimby becomes agitated, drawing his gun and threatening the Alchemist
- As Qwimby shouts at the Alchemist, the towering fortress overhears him and begins to approach us
- We scramble towards a set of mountains to the south in a bid to flee from him
- The creature loses sight of us as we dash beneath a canopy of trees
- Graxen hears the sound of his mother's laughter as the creature begins to walk away
- Graxen attacks Steve, believing her to be his mother
- Steve restrains Graxen, with Ellette casting Sleep on him
- Orlan ties Graxen's arms behind his back with rope as he sleeps
- Steve confiscates Graxen's sword
- A woman's voice whispers from behind us, asking if it is necessary to restrain Graxen
- The woman identifies herself as a "concerned citizen", with Orlan recognising her as the woman he caught a glimpse of in the village of Barovia
- She gives her name as Isabelle Pendragon
- Isabelle believes the Blood Siren is seeking Strahd's armour at Argynvostholt
- Isabelle does not seem perturbed by the Alchemist's appearance and seems almost too aloof for someone native to Barovia
- Isabelle knows there is a Dragonborn in Krezk
- She is familiar with the actions of Sordia Vignti during their last visit to Barovia
- Isabelle mentions that the Siren has bound herself to a nameless god, and is searching for artefacts to use in a ritual to free herself from Barovia
- This ritual would likely result in Vastian's death
- She speaks of Krezk, Vallaki and Berez as sites where artefacts can be found - apart from Argynvostholt. If we find them before her, we can use them to imbue one of us with the power she seeks
- She says she will wait for us in the Amber Temple once we have gathered all of the artefacts
- Graxen agrees to give the Alchemist Strahd's journal. He believes the answers we seek are within its pages
- Isabelle approaches the Alchemist and asks that he come with her to the Amber Temple
- While Graxen and Orlan agree, the others are hesitant to allow her to take the Alchemist and the book
- Isabelle is adamant that she simply wishes for the Blood Siren to be removed from Barovia - suggesting that the return of Strahd as the Dark Lord would be a better outcome for the land
- She admits that she has the means to restore Strahd to life
- Depending on the vessel used, she can change the demeanour of the restored Dark Lord, wishing to use the Alchemist to achieve this end
- Isabelle gives us a Sending Stone, and also casts a spell giving us a temporary copy of Strahd's journal
- The group agree to leave the Alchemist with Isabelle. She magically teleports us to Krezk
- The city walls are still standing, but are covered in crustaceans
- Ellette flies into the town, while Graxen uses Misty Step to teleport to the top of the wall
- Ellette investigates the shop finding an empty glass dome
- There is a tentacle firmly holding a lever, which appears to open the town gate. The tentacle does not budge. Graxen cuts the tentacle away, before pulling the lever
- meanwhile, Qwimby spots a bag in the moat around the town, using a rope to hook and pull it towards him. He recognises it as a bag of holding
- The bag wraps itself around his wrist. Qwimby cannot put down the bag, feeling compelled to hold onto it
- Qwimby reaches deep into the bag, with a gnarled hard beginning to reach outwards across his chest in response
- Ellette slices at this monstrous arm, but the hand shoves Qwimby in the way of her sword
- Qwimby is cleaved in half, a blackened essence leaving his body as he is pulled into the Bag of Holding. An echoing voice announces this as the fulfillment of the curse placed on him by the fountain - damning him to die within a year
