- We arrive in a long corridor, with a number of hallways splitting off from the main route - There is a floating skull at the end of the corridor who does not appear to act threateningly - At the end of the first hallway is a lever. There is a large hall in the ground - Orlan throws some dirt into the hole, there seems to be a wet sound as it lands far below - Ellette feels something different about herself - She cuts her coat and attempts to cast Mending - but this fails - Orlan attempts to cast Light on a rock, but his magic fails - Stepping outside the hallway, his magic now works - Bringing the rock back into the hallway dispells Light - Kyo tosses a number of coins across the hole, but an invisible barrier appears to halt them from travelling the full way. There is another wet plop from below as they land - Oraln proceeds to the second hallway, this one appears to have a number of scuff marks travelling horizontally across the ground. - This hallway does not dispell the Light cast on the rock. Orlan rolls it down the hallway causing something to rapidly slice it in half - Orlan surmises this trap to have been triggered by the movement of the rock - Steve and Graxen approach the skull at the far end of the corridor - Its gaze seems to acknowledge us but it does not speak. - Behind it, there is a door locked by six deadbolts. Steve approaches the door, causing the skull to glow. - The third corridor is patterned by alternatively coloured tiles in chequered shades of light and dark grey - Steve throws a rock down the hallway. She skips it along all of the tiles in a row. This seems to trigger nothing in the floor - Graxen ties a rope around Steve's waist, as a precaution - before she attempts to jump in the same path as the rock. - The first tile is safe, but landing on the next tile triggers a trap that causes her to fall through the ground - the ceiling above her falls in a similar motion, appearing to land on top of the space where she once was - The rope snaps as she falls, leaving Graxen with the tattered end - The ground around where Steve landed on the second tile appears to be raised a handful of inches higher then the rest of the hallway - Kyo approaches the forth hallway - He can see spikes on the left wall and the lever at the far end - Kyo moves to the final hallway on the left side, seeing a blank hallway without any features of note - Kyo joins Orlan at the second hallway - using Nature's Wrath to block one of the openings in the wall through which the bladed objects seem to be emerging. - Orlan tests with another rock - but a blade still travels through it. However, after slicing through the rock it gets stuck in Kyo's thorns - Orlan throws a rock to trigger the second blade, with Kyo jumping passed as the blade aims for the rock - Orlan attempts this again on the third blade - but the second blade slices it in half - Ellette travels to the forth hallway, noticing the absence of Steve - Graxen walks along the wall, landing at the far end of the hallway. He lands in front of the lever - causing a bounce pad to send him hurtling towards spikes in the ceiling. - Landing after suffering the impalement, he lands in front of the lever and pulls it. This frees Steve - who is now dead, having been trapped in a chasm where she couldn't breathe. - Oraln rushes to Steve's side, to cast Revivify - This brings Steve back to life - In the moments before her death, she experienced a memory of - Having used his magic to block the final two blades, Kyo makes it to the lever at the far end of the hallway - Using a Divine Smith, Kyo kicks the lever - triggering it. - Two of the deadbolts are now unlocked - At the forth hallway, Orlan throws another rock embed with Light - but is unable to toss it far into the hallway - Another rock triggers nothing within the hallway - The spikes on the walls look bloody, while the right hand side has a faint magical glow - Graxen senses this glow to be evocation magic - Graxen feels a strong sense of distrust towards the party having again used his Beholder eye - Ellette approaches the glowing wall, touching it and sensing nothing in particular - Kyo dashes down this hallway - two force fields open up as the room begins to speak - I can be held but not touched, I can be stolen but never returned, I can be lost but not found - what am I? - Kyo fails to answer in time and is blown into the nearby spike wall before being teleported back to the opening of the hallway - Ellette enters the hallway - I devour all but leave no trace, I am unseen yet I hold great weight. I creep in silence yet my presence is feared - what am I? - Ellette fails to answer this and is sent into the spike wall before being returned to the opening of the hallway - Ellette enters again - She answers "death" but this does not trigger a response. She answers "time" - which is the correct answer - Kyo approaches the skull. It glances down at him but does not speak - The next barrier triggers another riddle - I am always hungry, I must always be fed. The hand I touch soon turns to red - what am I? - Ellette answers "blood" - but does is incorrect. She is again sent into the spikes and back to the entrance of the hallway - Steve guesses the answer to be "fire". Kyo approaches and gives this answer. It is correct - The next riddle is "I am your ally and your doom. I exist in the past, presence and future. I create and destroy in equal measure. The wise wield me, the foolish fear me - what am I?" - Kyo is unable to answer - Orlan answers "knowledge" - which is correct - Orlan answers "breath" for the final riddle - but this is incorrect - The answer is "secrets" - The walls around the hole in the first hallway are slimy - Orlan holds a torch down into the hole, the goo seems to shy away from the flame - Graxen is able to bypass the hole by walking along its edges - landing on the far side. A black gelatinous cube appears behind him - cutting him off from the others - The lever is blocked by an invisible barrier - which Graxen attempts to punch at - Kyo jumps across the hole to the opening found by Graxen - using a rope to bring the others across with him - With Graxen trapped on one side by the cube, the others land behind it and engage it in battle - The cube devours Graxen - sucking him inside - The party destroys the cube, before pulling the lever - We come to the fifth hallway - which appears to have a cold ambiance, sending a chill down our spines - Kyo enters this hallway, but is grasped by ghostly hands that appear from the floor - He darts deeper into the hallway, as hands continue to grasp at him - After dodging a number of the hands, Kyo is clasped and dragged to the ground - Orlan uses Sacred Flame - blasting the hands and freeing Kyo - Kyo makes it to the lever, kicking it
