- Chappell Gnome is performing the Gilded Frame Theatre, on Bardway - the concert having been arranged by Big Tony - Krystal and Marita inform us that Tony has ulterior motives in arranging for Chappell's arrival, he is intending to make a move against her at the concert - Several people known to be proficient in magic have disappeared throughout Kalteo. Chappell Gnome is renowned for her own magical talents and is therefore likely next on Big Tony's list - Graxen and Ellette disguise themselves magically through Disguise Self and Alter Self respectively - Qwimby disguises himself using the same kit he used before attending the masquerade ball, he then disguises Orlan - Steve borrows a dress from one of the prostitutes and hides the blue streaks in her hair - Approaching Bardway, we see a large crowd of people milling towards the concerts while fireworks erupt overhead - Orlan, Qwimby and Steve buy VIP meet and greet. Orlan uses the fake name of Mike Jones, while giving Steve the name of Sylvia Rose - The woman at the ticket booth seems suspicious of Qwimby - "Just because I'm not a fuckin lesbian doesn't mean I can't go in for a meet and greet" - Qwimby uses the name of John Liguria - Graxen and Ellette buy two tickets for the front row - They use the fake names of Breffni and Nissa - Orlan buys two magical wand sticks and a tote bag at the merch stand while Qwimby buys a shirt - Ellette buys five of the Chappell Gnome make up kits - She also buys the Hot to Gnome bodysuit - Graxen buys a shirt to blend in with the crowd of fans - Ellette spots a number of invisible Arcane Eyes glinting, spying at least four - One of the security guards walking a perimeter of the crowd appears to be looming closer and closer to us with each lap. He seems to be openly looking for something - Two guards separate the crowd, setting down railings and splitting the crowd - laying down a red carpet along the centre of the group - Big Tony walks along the red carpet, waving to the crowd - Orlan feels the pull of the Hand of Vecna as he passes - The VIP tickets begin to vibrate and glow, summoning their holders through the doors and into the concert venue - Qwimby, Steve and Orlan move forward. A large Tiefling woman excitedly brushes passed them, charging to the door and proclaiming herself to have bought the first ticket - Qwimby, Steve and Orlan are ushered through next - meeting Chappell Gnome inside a small booth - Chappell sits on a small throne surrounded by a frame - Orlan struggles to sing a chorus of Hot to Gnome, but Chappell still invites the group to sing with her on stage - Two Tiefling security guards stand in the back of the room - Steve speaks to Chappell in Gnomish. - Steve warns Chappell that someone may be at the concert to kidnap her - revealing the trio to be adventures from Alexandria - Chappell is dubious, believing Steve may be one of her stalkers - Steve presses the point, asserting that the mafia of Kalteo have brought Chappell here to kill her and steal her magic - Steve mentions Ellette - but the guards do not seem perturbed by the mention of that name - Qwimby passes Chappell a book to sign - having written a plan in its pages that details the group's intentions to save her from Fat Tony - Chappell speaks in Gnomish, surmising the plan - swapping her out with Steve before her encore song. Steve will be disguised with the Chappell costume bought at the merch stand - Chappell gives Steve a microphone spell, which the imposter will have to use - Qwimby then uses his notepad to convey our status as members of Sordia Vignti - Chappell seems to acquiesce, agreeing to the plan - Qwimby, Steve and Orlan are then ushered through to the VIP area while Chappell teleports backstage - The trio are sat beside the hysterical Tiefling woman - Outside, the remainder of the ticket holders are ushered inside - Graxen and Ellette are stopped by security as they question Graxen's arms - Ellette covers for Graxen, asserting that he lost he lost the arm in a childhood accident and this is discriminatory - The guard gives Graxen a glove that nullifies magic, which he is forced to wear on his metallic hand - Orlan sends Ellette a telepathic message - informing her that the plan was discussed with Chappell and Steve has the microphone spell for her to sing during the encore - The arena fills up as the crowd pours inside. The trio are in floating balcony seats - the VIP section. Ellette and Graxen sit in the front row on the left hand side of the stage - Chappell takes to the stage, beginning to sing. - Steve and Qwimby attempt to sneak away during the second song. Orlan attempts to hide their exit by mingling with the hysterical Tiefling and winding her up. She grapples him excitedly - On the far side of the arena, the four VIP seats - previously occupied - are now vacant - Steve and Qwimby approach the entrance to backstage - Qwimby tries to bluff his way though as a homophonic security guard, pretending to be escorting Steve out of the concert - He mentions having been hired by Tony when questioned by the other guards over who hired him - This raises the other guards' suspicions, as they were unfamiliar with Qwimby's presence - Tony apparently only hires Tieflings - The guard wishes to cast Dispel Magic as he is distrustful of Qwimby. This alerts Steve as it will break the microphone spell - Ellette uses Subtle Spell to Dispel Magic the glove on Graxen's arm. - This causes the Arcane Eyes to focus on her, they shoot beams that light us, marking us for security - At the door to the backstage, Qwimby and Steve attack the security guards. Qwimby stabs one to death with the Warrior's Pass Key while Steve grapples the other - breaking his neck. They then sneak backstage - Graxen casts Silent Image, creating a copy of Ellette beside him as the real one stealths backwards into the crowd behind her. Using Greater Invisibility, she sneaks around the corner to the backstage area - finding Steve and Qwimby as they kill the two guards - Steve gives the microphone spell to Ellette, explaining its usage in the plan - In the VIP section, the Tiefling woman refuses to release Orlan - revealing she is working for Big Tony - Chapell heads backstage as she prepares for her encore. She meets Steve, Qwimby and Ellette - She knows of Sordia Vignti as she had previously intended to play a show in Alexandria - Chapell turns off her magic - revealing an entirely mundane appearance underneath - while Steve disguises herself as Chapell Gnome - Orlan again speaks telepathically with Ellette, warning her of the Tiefling grappling him - Steve walks out on stage, disguised as Chapell Gnome. Ellette begins to sing Fireball Supernova, using the microphone spell to pretend to be Chapell's voice - Orlan uses Hold Person to freeze the Tiefling, before meeting up with Graxen, Qwimby and Chapell. The group returns to the backstage area, looking for an exit - The performance on the stage begins to fade out, the song coming to an end - A fireball erupts around Steve as the song comes to an end - The fireball engulfs Steve, buring her as a trap door opens underneath her. The psychic claws of a demonic entity grab at Steve as Ellette attempts to Vortex Warp her to safety - Ellette succeeds in pulling Steve away from the claws - Orlan, Qwimby and Graxen manage to sneak Chapell out through the crowd, while the Arcane Eyes all focus on Ellette - Ellette uses Magic Mirror to redirect one of their Disintegration attacks towards another - The other two Eyes hit her with violent attacks, downing her - Big Tony raises from the trap door in the stage. Steve Grasps Ellette, dragging her away as she flees from him - Big Tony has an Eldritch, demonic appearance - floating towards Steve as she attempts to make her escape - Big Tony casts Command - forcing Steve to drop Ellette and freezing her in place - A nearby sewer grate lifts, a voice whispering to Steve and Ellette with promises of help. They rush towards the grate - finding a burned man in the sewers. A long tendril extends from him, snaking deeper into the tunnels below Kalteo. He also appears to be missing a heard. - He urges Steve and Ellette to head to the prison, where they will find their final fight. He claims Big Tony has been syphoning magic from numerous beings in Kalteo, but has been foiled in his final attempt by the rescue of Chapell Gnome - He holds out a locket towards Ellette, asking that she "give it to her". No sooner has it left his hand, he is violently yanked away by the tendril - The locket is heart-shaped, and holds an image of the man with Marita - along with another image of Marita's children - Overhead, the tunnel begins to shake. Steve and Ellette run deeper into the sewers, emerging on street level near the cult-owned church - Graxen, Qwimby and Orlan spirit Chapell away towards the whorehouse - being joined shortly after by Ellette and Steve - Chapell Gnome hugs both Steve and Ellette - Qwimby, Orlan and Graxen join in the group hug - Steve takes the locket, handing it to Marita - Martia falls silent, recognising the locket from Gerry The Fox - before pouring herself a glass of gay whiskey - Qwimby recognises the prison mentioned by Gerry as Cavlliri Island - informally known as "The Gabba Gulag"
