- Kyo disappeared from the group, feeling a similar failure to Orlan
- Visiting a friend at a chapel, he speaks with his deceased master through Speak to Dead - before killing a number of people who may have been associated with her death
- He also spearheads an assault against Zargathax's caches and lieutenants - using hit and run tactics
- Ellette - feeling a burning determination after the constant destruction visited upon the towns Sordia Vignti attempt to save - helped to rebuild Alexandria
- She also aided in the rebuilding of Luskan, Mirabar and the poorer section of Neverwinter - brokering a deal and supply lines between each
- She also rebuilt Morgar's wizard tower - renaming it Zara's Hall, as a celebration of Zara's life and achievements
- A council now rules Alexandria - with Derreck, Quintin and Vargath all sitting on it
- Isolde Vaytar has joined the keep from Luskan - bringing her wizarding expertise
- Dagna Stonebane, a Dwarf from Mirabar, is in charge of commerce on the Alexandria council
- Rasp can now speak coherent basic common
- Qwimby built a large ship, meant for wandering - Stugotz III.
- Qwimby travelled the high seas, exploring far and wide in an attempt to wash away his guilt
- He searches for Vita Chita - but is unable to find it.
- He sends a continuous stream of coin back to his parents' tavern
- Graxen and Nissa have a child together - a baby named Vastian Celestriare. Graxen refuses to give the child his own last name, wishing to end the legacy of the Varrows
- Feeling a surge in patriarchal urging, he helps to train the children in the keep - while also raising his new-born son
- Nissa and he build a home together within the keep
- After a year at sea, Qwimby's ship returns to the new dock at Alexandria
- Squeeb approaches, demanding three eggs as tax for docking. Qwimby claims to be tax exempt but Squeeb does not believe him. The kobold raises the price to five eggs
- Corvath passes nearby - Qwimby spies him and summons him over
- Corvath is unable to help, with Squeeb demanding "500 money". Corvath tells Qwimby about Alexandria's new council. Qwimby does not seem impressed
- Graxen notices Qwimby and helps him pass through the dock
- Meanwhile, in the keep, Ellette addresses a council meeting
- Behind her, the teleportation circle sparks to life, with Orlan stepping through.
- Ellette, panicked, hurls a Ice Knife at him - impaling him in the shoulder
- Ellette calls for the guards, not recognising him. He identifies himself, but she is displeased at his unauthorised use of the teleportation portals
- Ellette banishes Orlan from the council chamber. Outside, he is approached by Rasp - who greets him
- Rasp seems to recognise him, calling him "friend"
- Orlan next spots Steve, speaking briefly with her
- Kyo enters through the main entrance of Alexandria - where the Meep grabs him by the collar and leads him towards the keep
- Graxen and Qwimby next arrive in the keep, joining with Steve, Orlan and Kyo
- Ellette leaves the council chambers, spotting everyone together. She strikes Qwimby across the back of the head
- She is irritated by his lack of correspondence, but is happy to see Kyo
- Qwimby speaks, seeming to have been radicalised by his year-long voyage. He now believes diversity is an issue and his all Water Genasi crew were a better unit than Sordia Vignti
- Kyo taps Qwimby's lips with his paw, casting a spell to cure him of the effects of a tropical fruit he ate at sea. Qwimby complains of having little sleep since eating this fruit, but upon Kyo's touch he keels over unconscious
- Rasp carries Qwimby upstairs, leaving him to sleep off his racism
- Moggi, the goblin chef, believes that Dagna can be summoned by saying her name three times. Orlan tests this, drawing forth an angry Dwarf who storms into the hall and crushes his hand while being introduced to him
- Jess enters next, her small child - a half orc girl named Rose - scurries around the hall as she speaks with the group
- Isolde presents Olran with a book for him to sign in - she seems displeased with Ellette for allowing him to enter the keep without authorisation
- Qwimby rejoins the group, with all catching up regarding the events of the preceeding 18 months
- Ellette mentions the council meeting, saying a white dragon has again been spotted around Luskan
- She needs to step aside for a number of weeks - and has appointed Anora - a cleric of Myrkul - in her sted to aid with tracking down the dragon
- She points us towards the guild to find her
- We head towards the guild to seek out Anora
- Quintin announces our arrival, causing the entire hall to erupt into cheers
- Fizzle jumps up onto the bar, holding a copper coloured potion towards Orlan and a green potion towards Qwimby. He then offers Kyo an orange one
- Orlan drinks his, turning his skin a bronze/copper colour and giving him resistance to fire for an hour
- Kyo drinks his, causing the tips of his fur strands to glow and burst into crackles of lightning. He can set things ablaze through touch for ten minutes
- Fizzle fashions the green potion into a small cigar, which Qwimby smokes. As long as he remains still, his face takes on the appearance of the person closest to him - this effect lasting for 30 minutes
- His face immediately turns into Fizzle's
- Anora sits in Sordia Vignti's reserved booth
- Anora seems very enthusiastic about the numerous people the group has killed
- Quintin approaches the group, bringing documentation sent by Ellette regarding the dragon attacking Luskan
- There appears to be mention of the dragon potentially being contaminated
- Kyo uses Dispell Magic, causing Anora's hood to disappear. Her hair undearneath is long, wild and curly. The raven on her shoulder loses some of its colour, its eyes glassing over
- A name has been discovered in relation to the dragon - Arveiaturace. This is relayed through Ellette's documentation.
- Kyo vaguely recalls stories of a lich who once rode this dragon
- Qwimby, Kyo and Graxen discuss the possibly of using illusion magic to disguise Qwimby's boat full of opiate fruits, tricking the dragon into eating them in order to drug it
- Kyo instead suggests that we buy a herd of sheep or cows, tagging one through the ear - and then using locate object to find this tag. This will allow us to track the dragon should it eat the tagged creature
- This unfortunately does not involve the use of cocaine
- We decide to buy 5 cows, at 10 GP each
- Steve suggests buying a single cow, tagging it, and using Enlarge to make it more appetising to the dragon
- The dragon seems to attack only when the roads are in active use
- The Spine of the North is the closest mountain range
- While discussing the necessity of defeating both the dragon and its lich rider, Steve recalls the nature of a lich's phylactery. This object must be found and destroyed in order to kill the lich. Graxen speaks of a war in Barovia between his native underwater kingdom of Volantis and a pair of lich twins who hid their phylacteries in the stomach of a massive undead dragon turtle known as Cryptmaw.
