IT is still the middle of the day we decide to go to The Blushing Mermaid. When we get there we see a sign for todays special, "shellfish". When we get inside there's dirty men all over, a crudly crafted wooden mermaid hanging from the ceiling. The barman is cleaning. Steve orders three shell fish and asks for milk for Kyo and two beers. Steve pays for board for a week. Theres a knocking on the window, Steve checks and its a grab. She opens the window and lets him inside. "Open" the grab states "Open me" Steve smashes the crabs shell and an egg is inside. Ellette puts it in a glass of water. The crab whispers "Consume" as it dies. Kyo agrees to eat the egg. He sees a vision of the tridents location, in a forest just outside Baldurs Gate. The Wood Of Sharp Teeth. About 50-60 miles away. Proof of 9 dead bandits 10 dead bandits to get onto the board. Proof they were bandits. We head to Rolins to haggle on better potions. We buy upgraded health potions a potion of invisibility. Rolins then offers, a broken spear. There's a lot of magic coming from it. It's a spear of dragon slaying, only one use left. Kyo ask for an hour to earn enough to buy the spear. Kyo pays for the spear. We have rations, new potions and location of the dragon. We go to get some decent horses for the journey Betty, Gretty and florence. Steve rides with Astryx, kyo with Ellette and Cedric on his own. We set off, it's getting dark as we reach the forests edge, we decide to camp outside the edge of the forest before we had into the forest. We bring the horses with us, we come across an old looking house. There's an older woman sitting on the porch on a rocking chair. Steve asks her about the dragon. She talks about weird stone houses in Baldurs Gate. Ellette is untrusting. Kyo draws a druid symbol on the ground. She recognises it. Kyo seems not worried about her. We head inside to have tea with her. The dragons nickname is old gnaw bone. She likes playing tricks. The old woman offers the group stew. She calls herself Granny Ethy (They?) Ellette says she reminds her of NAnny Nora. Ethy didn't like her or her sisters. She points towards the fireplace. Ellette runs over, Ethy goes over and drops the illusion. Ellette runs down to check on the kids, they seem healthy. Kyo and Steve stay upstairs with Ethy. Ellette talks to the kids they seem healthy enough, she gives a piece of her bedroll to act as a bracelet for Dylan, promising to find him when the dragon is dealt with. Ethy calls Ellette "Petal", she walks out of the house. WE all leave and start heading deeper into the forest. We see a fork, one towards the dragon the other leads to another cabin. We continue towards the dragon noting the cabin for later. WE get to the entrance of the cave the dragon seemed to be in. Theres a barrier blocking out entry. The barrier is removed revealing a boldur blocking the entrance. We wait and hide to see if the dragon appears. 5 hours later the dragon leaves the cave. We head into the cave. The walls are marked drom the dragon dragging along the wall. There is an opening. Theres a big open area with a lot of treasure around. We head in deeper looking for the trident. We see the trident deeper in, on top of a large pile of gold. Kyo climbs up to get the trident. Kyo pushes it as it falls and slides down the coins following it. Ellette puts it in the bag of holding and a scoop of 100 GP into the bag. The sound of the dragon returning echos around the cave. We all hide. The dragon enters, its very big, clearly old. It's the same dragon with the green mattallic sheen around the place. There are scales around the ground. It does not appear to be a Draco-lich. Theres a faint purple glow coming from the opposite end of the room. It appears to be moving. Theres a purple orb, it looks like an eye. Wandering that corner of the room. Looking at the dragon and treasures. It seems to be a scrying eye. Humanoid.
